An early ripening hybrid of cucumber for growing in open ground. The plant is bee-pollinated with predominantly female flowering type. Plants are of medium length and provided with sufficient nutrition, will form numerous lateral shoots producing enviable high yield. Fruits are of short-cylindrical shape, with frequent, large tubercles and rich green color. They are 2 to 3 inch (5-8 cm) long and weight of 3 to 4 oz (80-100 g) at the stage of gherkin maturity. The fruits are bitter-free and therefore great in salads.Planting instructions: Cucumber plants are seeded or transplanted outside in the ground no earlier than 2 weeks after last frost date. Cucumbers are extremely susceptible to frost damage; the soil must be at least 70ºF (20 С) for germination. Do not plant outside too soon! Before you plant outside, select a site with full sun. Soil should be neutral or slightly alkaline with a pH of 7.0. Cucumbers require fertile soil.
