Brachycome (Brachycome Iberidifolia Mix) Also known as Swan River Daisy, this lovely brachycome flower mix establishes easily from seed. Brachycome is perfect for containers and hanging baskets since it spills gracefully over the edges and trails down. Brachycome Mix is covered with masses of brilliant blue, pink, and white daisy blooms, and it has attractive ferny foliage that grows in a mounding habit. Grown in full to part sun, Brachycome daisy plants will reach 8 - 10 inches and bloom from early summer until fall. Since brachycome plants can become almost entirely covered with flowers during the bloom season, they can also serve quite well in flower beds and borders. Swan river daisies are native to Australia, which makes them tough plants that tolerate many different soil conditions. However, they do prefer regular applications of fertilizer, especially if grown as a container plant. Attractive Multi-Use Plant How to Grow If starting indoors for a jump on the growing season, sow these seeds in early spring on the surface of lightly-firmed and moist seed compost: use small pots or trays.
